Century has an extensive casegoods facility with state of the art woodworking three upholstery factories – all situated in Hickory, North Carolina and a complex finishing process, along with abilities.

Harley Ferguson Shuford, Sr. created Century Furniture Business in 1947 as a selling agent for local upholstery lines. A year after, he assembled a casegoods plant in Hickory, North Carolina and made an 18th century design mahogany dining suite that sent the following January. Additionally in July, Century Furniture was given the STAR 2013 AmericasMart Medal of Excellence Honour.
